About Us

The Company

Labrox is now part of Uniogen. Uniogen was established when Abacus Diagnostica, a frontrunner in molecular testing and rapid PCR tests, Kaivogen, a specialist in immunoassays and antibody testing, and Labrox, an innovator of high technology laboratory instruments and diagnostic readers, joined forces in the beginning of 2022. The company is headquartered in Turku, Finland and employs close to 100 life science professionals. Uniogen’s products are used in about 100 countries around the world. In 2021, the combined annual net sales of the three companies forming Uniogen was approximately  EUR 15 million.

Labrox vision is to offer our partners and users turnkey solutions from single technology modules to the highest quality multimode readers. Our long history with detection systems, mechanics, electronics, software and plate reader development principles guarantees that our customers will receive instrument solutions meeting the highest standards.

The Labrox advantage is that due to advanced design we deliver a smaller footprint, lighter, completely modular, more versatile, cost-efficient, low maintenance instrument without sacrificing neither high quality, superior performance nor ease of use. Due to our modular “Lego-block” type approach and design, our instrument features a wide variety of configuration options. Labrox customers are OEM and contract R&D partners as well as industry departments and research institutions. Labrox designs and develops multimode plate readers and integrated analyzers for automated HTS and IVD systems for Academic laboratories, the Pharmaceutical industry, and In-vitro diagnostics companies.

We also manufacture for direct sales and distribution. Our work is international, compliant and certified. Through our collaborations Labrox readers and instrument solutions have spread to more than 100 countries and four continents.
